PRODUCT OF THE MONTH – DELPHINIUM AND PEONY

Last day of the month, last chance to read some more on our Duo of Delphinium and Peony.
This time, we would like to discuss some names of species, who have a story behind them. For instance, there is a Delphinium named after the famous King Arthur.
Somewhat lesser known is Sarah Bernhardt, the name-giver of Peony Sarah Bernhardt. She was a French actress, who travelled across the Atlantic in 1880 to tour the Wild West. She is also featured in a album of the comic strip Lucky Luke. Another famous name-giver to a sort of Peony is dr. Alex Fleming, who was a Scottish microbiologist and the inventor of penicilline.

That’s all for now, we would like to welcome you again next week, to find out our new Product of the Month.
